Professional paths, I have travelled.

My professional paths is comprised of 2 phases, which both summarises the paths, I have travelled to so far in professional world.

Phase 1


On the 27th of January 2014, Mutale municipality Technical department awarded me with an opportunity to undertake construction surveying training's in a road construction project under Capstan contractors and Nevhutalu Consulting Engineers. On the 12th of December 2014, I completed my trainings under Capstan Trading, and Nevhutalu Consulting Engineers. My duties were as following:

• Setting out: Road levels, Box and Round culverts levels, Road profiles, Curves and belmouths.

• Geo-technical Engineering skills: Inspection of geo-technical faults and compactions, and Liaising with laboratory personnel’s.

• Project Management: administrative skills, computer literacy, and Microsoft Project      Management, meeting attendance, liaising with the engineer, fleet and labours management.

Phase 2


On the 5th of January 2015, I started working as Survey Technician at Geoland Land Surveyors. My duties are:

• Calculations, and drawing of plans using Surpac Software,  
• Compilation of survey records. 
• Operation of survey equipment (Trimble M3 Total Station and RTK GPS with TSC3 controller) on site.
 • Management and assistance of surveying team in conducting Geomatics work (Control, Boundary, Topographic and Engineering survey). 
• Computer work 
• Downloading and calibration of work done. 
general maintenance of the equipment 
• Planning and Reconnaissance survey
